Compassion Is As Compassion Does

This is Hannah and her friend Juju in the class at church. Hannah is 6 and Juju is 2. When something happened to Juju, he ran straight to Hannah, who gladly scooped him up and held him. When children are shown compassion at home, they learn how to be compassionate with others.

So, I decided to start blogging about our family and all of the fun things that we are learning about. Mostly for us, but also for our family that don't live nearby.

I walked into the bathroom today and this is what I found.

I used to do this when I was younger and it drove my mom crazy! She would find gum on the kitchen counter or on the dining room table. I would forget that I put it there and it stayed until my mom found it. Now that I'm grown and have children, I find that they do the same type of things to drive me crazy!

Goat Poop!

We went out to the Carter Goat Farm on Thursday to pick up some goat manure for our front yard.

What an opportunity for the kids to get up close and personal with some of these guys.



The kids really enjoyed feeding them little pieces of hay.

A Little Girl Fun

Today Shae and Katrina came over to play with our girls. Of course the day was filled with tea parties, dress up, and a little playing out in the dirt! These girls had so much fun together!

At the end of the day, they did a photo shoot. They were all about the poses!

Oliver has recently been able to open the pantry door by himself. He really enjoys getting in there and "sorting" through everything.
